52 Weeks of Cooking: Week Five - Chili
Week five's challenge of chili wasn't that exciting to me. Don't get me wrong, I love chili, but I didn't feel like being creative with it. I probably could have thought of something more interesting, but I really just didn't feel like it. I like this chili recipe, and I feel no need to go crazy with it. The upside of this challenge was that I made enough chili to have it for lunch everyday that week. The chili is Kenji's recipe without one of the cans of chickpeas and plus a lot of portobellos and green bell pepper. I also left out the bourbon. Put the chili in a frito bag and top with sour cream, cheese, and scallions. It's excellent.
